The District 's Mobile Medical Special Response unit is a valuable asset in the fleet. This unit is designed to deliver rapid care in a Mass Casualty situation, assist other agencies in search & rescue/other special needs, provide medical stand-by at large scale events, serve as a command center, and to provide free screenings & wellness assessments across all areas of the county, especially those in which the residents may not have good access to health care.
